At La Jolie, we are committed to offering beauty and wellness without ever compromising on your comfort and health. We want to share with you our procedures that we will be following in our salon and spa to maintain a safe and clean environment during these unprecedented times.
Social distancing will be maintained throughout the salon. We have reduced our capacity by 50% and will only offer hair services at every other station. We will continue to offer nail services in our private rooms. Our spa room is secluded upstairs completely removed from our salon at the first floor.
Contactless options. We are offering credit cards on file for your appointments. This will allow us to minimize traffic at the front desk and reduce contact for checking out. To tip your stylist, please directly hand your gratuity to your stylist if using cash or Venmo. No receipts will be given in order to reduce contact, unless requested.
Safety First. Upon your request, our technicians will wear a mask, if you would like. Workstations will be disinfected before and after every service. Our chairs will be kept 6 feet apart to maintain a safe space. Due to sanitation concerns, we are sorry that there will be no magazines or beverage service at this time. You are welcome to bring your own.
Sanitation. All linens are laundered at the highest water temperature. This includes towels, sheets, capes and robes. All work surfaces will be sanitized with alcohol or approved disinfectants in between every client. All high touch areas will be sanitized constantly throughout the day. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray will be at all stations and throughout the main areas of the building.
Gloves will be used whenever possible. Each service provider will be required to sanitize their hands and work areas in between every client. All tools will be sanitized after each service (as this is already a policy in our industry). Each staff member has been certified in COVID specific sanitation practices by Barbicide – the sanitation leader in our industry.
We are grateful for your business, especially during a tough time for all of us. We ask for your patience when booking a service or receiving a service. New protocols can take extra time and we want to ensure that you are safe through every step of the way. Some color services may incur an extra charge due to using extra product or correcting past at home color. We want to reassure you that only the cost of the color will be added if needed, and we will not be charging any Covid surcharges.
